Gippsland Line Upgrade

Revision Zero successfully completed the Gippsland Line Upgrade project in the last quarter of 2022, which runs from Melbourne to Bairnsdale, Victoria.

The Gippsland Line Upgrade project will provide more frequent and reliable train services to the growing communities of Gippsland. The upgrade of the Gippsland line will allow for additional off-peak services such as track overlaps, junction extensions, and other platforms at stations, giving more opportunities for trains to pass each other.  The development involves the construction of a new side platform at the stations at Bunyip, Longwarry, and Morwell and the reactivation of the existing second platform at Traralgon.

Revision Zero was centered around delivering precise 3D modeling and comprehensive shop drawings for various miscellaneous steel components, with a specific emphasis on platform balustrades and railings. This effort encompassed stations at Bunyip, Longwarry, Morwell, and Traralgon, aiming to ensure accuracy and detail in the design and planning phases. The focus extended beyond mere conceptualization, striving to provide exact specifications and visual representations that met the specific requirements of each station platform’s infrastructure and architectural needs.
