In Q3 2024, Revision Zero successfully delivered detailing and modelling services for the Bengalla Spirals Upgrade Launders project, located just southwest of Muswellbrook in the heart of the Hunter Valley, NSW.

This upgrade is part of the broader enhancement of the Bengalla Coal Mine, which is authorised to extract up to 15 million tonnes of run-of-mine coal annually through 2039. The spiral upgrade improves coal processing efficiency by enabling longer retention time for near-dense particles, recovering fine coal across a wide particle size range without the use of chemicals.

Our scope included:

3D modelling and workshop fabrication drawings

Approximately 10.2 tonnes of structural steel

Detailed support for spirals, launders, and piping
