In early 2020, Revision Zero successfully completed the Northparkes Copper and Gold Mine project, situated about 27 kilometres north-northwest of Parkes, a central New South Wales town in Australia.

The Northparkes Mine, a copper and gold mining facility, boasts an impressive annual processing capacity of six million tonnes, yielding around 60,000 tonnes of copper and 50,000 ounces of gold. It incorporates an overland conveyor system for transporting ore from the hoisting shaft to the surface processing plant. Here, underground ore bins supply the hoisting mechanism.

Revision Zero was vital in this project, providing 3D construction modelling services and preparing drawings for structural and mechanical steel components totalling around 380 tons.

The project’s scope included conveyor trestles, conveyor gantries, ground modules, transition frames, and loading modules.
