In 2024, Revision Zero successfully completed the Landside Road Crossing Canopy project at Western Sydney Airport, located on Badgery’s Creek Road, Bringelly, New South Wales, 2555, Australia.
Western Sydney Airport is an international airport currently under construction in the suburbs of Luddenham and Badgerys Creek, NSW. Scheduled to open in January 2026, the airport will operate 24/7 without curfews, addressing Sydney’s increasing aviation demand while supplementing the capacity of Kingsford Smith Airport. It is expected to drive substantial job creation and economic growth in the region. The project incorporates significant environmental measures, including airspace and flight path design and biodiversity conservation efforts. The Landside Road Crossing Canopy includes new walkways for road crossings in the northern and southern areas of the airport.
Revision Zero’s scope of work involved 3D modeling and providing detailed structural shop drawings for two road crossing canopies, with a combined weight of approximately 60 tons. These included:
Road Crossing Canopy 1
Road Crossing Canopy 2
The project’s efficiency and success were supported by Revision Zero’s dedication to precision and reliability in delivering high-quality structural components, reinforcing their commitment to excellence in every project.
