The school was finished six weeks ahead of schedule and under budget, opened 30th January 2017. Located in Rolleston, the new $12 million Lemonwood Grove School has welcomed around 100 students.

Lemonwood Grove School will cater for Year 1-8 students across 17 teaching spaces. It has been built on a four hectare site on the South side of Rolleston in response to anticipated population growth in the area.

The new school features a multi-purpose space, library, outdoor teaching spaces, an adventure play area and technology ‘maker spaces’. The flexible learning environment focuses on students’ engagement, motivation and enjoyment and allows learners to work independently or collaboratively.
