In 2024, Revision Zero successfully completed a portion of the NEWest Alliance Thornlie-Cockburn Link project in Perth, Western Australia. This new rail link, connecting the Mandurah and Armadale-Thornlie lines, establishes Perth’s first east-west cross-line connection.
The Thornlie-Cockburn Link will enhance travel flexibility and provide a higher level of public transport service to Perth’s southeastern suburbs. By improving access to employment and recreational areas, the link will support growth and accessibility across the region. It is projected to generate approximately 1,680 jobs through the construction of new stations and upgrades to the existing Thornlie, Cockburn Central, and Stadium stations, significantly improving connectivity in Perth’s southeastern corridor.
Revision Zero’s responsibilities on the project included delivering standard drawings, weld mapping, traceability documentation, and the Issued for Construction (IFC) model. The team also prepared workshop fabrication drawings and detailed the structural steel, which weighed approximately 76 tons. The project demanded a high level of precision to meet all specified requirements accurately.
