Project Highlight: Carrapateena Refrigeration Plant 2
For nearly a decade, Revision Zero has been actively involved in the Carrapateena Mine, one of South Australia’s largest mining projects of the past decade. In 2024, we proudly delivered another milestone within this legacy: Carrapateena Refrigeration Plant 2, extending our previous works on the mine’s refrigeration and cooling systems.
Located within the highly prospective Gawler Craton region, about 160 km north of Port Augusta, the Carrapateena mine plays a crucial role in South Australia’s mining industry. The refrigeration plant is vital for safe underground operations, pumping chilled water and air into the subsurface environment to maintain temperature, improve air quality, and ensure worker safety in deep excavations.
For this package, Revision Zero provided:

✅ Detailed fabrication drawings for ~145 tonnes of structural steel
✅ 328 linear meters of handrails
