Amidst the dynamic landscape of 2023, Revision Zero achieved a significant milestone by successfully concluding the SP4 Production Facility Upgrade, located in Penrith, Sydney, Australia.
The Visy Glass SP4 Production Facility Upgrade Project marks a pivotal advancement in the company’s capabilities for glass recycling, poised to process up to 200,000 tons of glass annually, equivalent to recycling approximately 150 bottles and jars. As Australia’s leading recycling enterprise, Visy collaborates with councils nationwide, managing nearly 40% of curbside recycling bins. This strategic partnership contributes to diverting items away from landfills, mitigating emissions, and safeguarding precious natural resources. Furthermore, Visy offers a comprehensive suite of services encompassing point-of-sale displays, packaging supplies, logistics, and ancillary solutions.
Revision Zero’s integral involvement in this project encompassed the provision of meticulous 3D modeling services, inclusive of the development of workshop fabrication drawings. This intricate process entailed the design and detailing of structural steel components, totaling approximately 211 tons, alongside the fabrication of approximately 423 linear meters of handrail and 3624 square meters of grating.
