Revision Zero successfully completed the Wakefield Hospital project in early 2020. This hospital is strategically located in the Newtown suburb, 5km south of Wellington’s central business district (CBD) on a spacious 2.2-hectare site.
The Wakefield Hospital Redevelopment Project is a significant initiative aimed at enhancing healthcare services in central New Zealand. It involves the construction of a state-of-the-art facility, featuring medical expert consulting rooms, a comprehensive radiography unit, modern administrative spaces, and welcoming front-house areas, all designed for future growth. With cutting-edge medical technology, this new facility brings advanced healthcare services and treatments to the region.
Importantly, Wakefield Hospital is designed to meet the latest seismic codes and standards, employing innovative base isolation techniques to safeguard the buildings during seismic events.
Revision Zero was a driving force behind this project, encompassing comprehensive 3D modelling services and creating structural steel drawings for approximately 344 tons in weight.
