Western Turner Syncline WTS – 2

The Western Turner Syncline WTS–2 was completed by Revision Zero in 2020, and the project site is 35 kilometres northwest of Tom Price in Western Australia’s Pilbara region.

This project is an expansion project of Greater Tom Price facilities by Rio Tinto in order to maintain the production capacity of its renowned iron ore business in the Pilbara of Western Australia. The project calls for construction of a new crusher and a 13-kilometre conveyor that is being built to facilitate the mining of existing and new deposits.

Revision Zero was awarded the scope of work to provide workshop fabrication drawings, detailing of structural steel, plate works, gratings, and handrails for the following areas:

  • Grizzly Feeder Isolation Frame
  • Cable Tray Support
  • Rom Bin Static Grizzly
  • Apron Feeder 1 Skirts
  • Rock Breaker 1 Maintenance Frame 1 and 2
  • Compressor Cover
  • Electrical Cabinet & Control Station Supports
  • Pipe Supports
  • Water Tanker Standpipe
  • Safety Shower Collection Pan
