Westfield Coomera development is a $470-million project to be completed in 2018 bringing more than 140 specialty stores, setting a new platform for dining, retail and entertainment on the Gold Coast’s northern end.
The impressive 59,000 sqm centre, which is set to transform the local region’s retail and social experiences, will feature an alfresco dining precinct, market-inspired fresh-food precinct and integrated green space. Westfield Coomera forms part of the longer-term Coomera Town Centre project, which will eventually include community space, commercial, residential and mixed use elements alongside the retail and lifestyle destination.
Westfield Coomera is being delivered by Scentre Group and QIC Global Real Estate. The ionic project is set to become a community hub, accommodating the northern Gold Coast’s growth by injecting a shopping, dining and entertainment precinct driven by major details like Woolworths, Coles, Kmart, Target and Event Cinemas.
This project involves initially the Cinema complex and was detailed jointly by a detailing company in Australia and Revision Zero. Through the use of Tekla Model sharing Revision Zero were able to work at the same time, live, giving much needed extra resource utilizing both day and nightshifts. The model sharing process was instrumental in getting this project through on time and budget for both companies involved.
