Another successfully completed project by the Revision Zero team is the Thornlie Cockburn Link Main Drain Crossings, forming part of Perth’s METRONET Thornlie–Cockburn Link in Western Australia.
Revision Zero provided the structural steel detailing, fabrication drawings and construction models for the access and support steelwork associated with the main drain crossing structures along the new rail corridor.
Our scope included approximately:
- 5.30 tonnes of structural steel
- 28.31 linear metres of handrail
- 30.2 m² of grating
The detailing package covered UC support beams, Webforge landings and grating, fabricated trash racks, Webforge handrails and gates, stair stringers and stair support.
While relatively modest in tonnage, projects such as this demand the same attention to coordination, constructability and detailing accuracy as much larger structures. Every connection and interface needs to be clearly resolved to support efficient fabrication and installation.
