SMPWD – St Marys Mew Program Wide Structures

Revision Zero completed the St Marys Mew Program Wide Structure in the first quarter 2022. It is located on the Main Western line in the Western Sydney district of St Marys in the City of Penrith local government area of New South Wales, Australia.

The St Marys Mew Program Wide Structure is an upgrade to the current St Marys station, which will involve replacing the former lift and stairs with new ones connecting to the existing footbridge.

These new lift and stair construction improvements would deliver better capacity, reliability and connectivity for customers and are intended to accommodate changes to the use of St Marys Railway station.

Revision Zero undertook this project, which involved the creation of 3D modelling and the preparation of drawings for structural steel weighing approximately 20 tons.

For this project, the improvement work includes:

  • Staircase Structures
  • Lift Shaft Awning
  • Lift Shaft Canopy
  • Lift Shaft Clock Tower
  • Lifting Beams to Lift Shaft
  • Under Stair Enclosures, Structural Steel and Screen Frames
  • Hold Down Bolts
