Martinsville Bridge 228 Girders

Project Spotlight: Martinsville Bridge 228
In Q2 of 2024, Revision Zero proudly delivered the Martinsville Bridge 228 Girders project for the City of Lake Macquarie, NSW — a small but vital infrastructure upgrade with a big impact for the local community.

The project involved replacing three critical bridges in the northern Martinsville Valley — a semi-rural area home to around 50 properties — to enhance road safety and ensure reliable access to emergency services.

Bridge 228, originally built in the early 1900s, was a single-lane timber structure designed for light vehicles. Along with Bridge 227, these bridges were the only access points for residents, service providers, and emergency crews.

Though modest in size, this project was a testament to our team’s dedication to precision and quality. We prepared fabrication drawings for 25 tonnes of structural steel, helping modernise essential infrastructure that connects and protects the community.

Thank you to our project partners and the Revision Zero team for your continued commitment to high standards in steel detailing and BIM. #revisionzero
